Crochet Pattern: iPhone cozy

Saturday, May 24, 2014

Today, I'll be sharing with you my first pattern! I love cozies/sleeves for electronics, and since my iPhone is my favorite device, it needed a make-over!

I hope you guys like this pattern!

Materials:
- Fingering weight pattern. I used Anna and Clara's cotton yarn in red.
- A 2.5 mm crochet hook.
- A tapestry needle for sewing edges together.

Gauge:
6 stitches pr. inch/10 stitches pr. cm.

Abbreviation:
Ch: chain stitch
Dc: double crochet stitch.
Sl st: slip stitch.

Instructions:
R1: ch40 or until the chain can be wrapped around your device.
R2: ch3 (counts as first dc), dc until end.
R3: ch 3 (counts as first dc), *slip st in first dc, dc in the next dc* repeat from * to * until end of round.
R4: ch3, dc until end of round.

Repeat R3-R4 until piece measures 13.5 cm/5.2 inches (or until it’s as high as your device).

Remember to end your rounds by crocheting into the starting ch3.

Sew edges together.

That’s it! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to drop me a comment!
